"The photo sessions with Joan were
Choreographed to a high degree of precision. From the moment Joan would
walk in the door, every moment had to be utilized to ensure the least
amount of time would be spent doing the photos. Perhaps 5 – 8 minutes
were used per wardrobe change. At least 6 changes.----- Like all
genius performers, she had the ‘performance' planned in her mind, I
was there to carry out what she had imagined. - A certain amount of
time we had to expect her to entertain us all with some of her hilarious
recent material."
