HARRY LANGDON JR., PHOTOGRAPHER
The Legendary Diana Ross,
Harry Langdon, Jr.
In a career that started in Hollywood, CA during the psychedelic 60’s era of Max Factor Cosmetics, followed by Diana Ross post “The Supremes”, staying fresh in a very competitive field is what keeps Harry Langdon (Jr.), in demand today. He remains among one of the top photographers in the world, photographing those in the entertainment, publishing, music, advertising, and editorial industries, always striving to capture on film the images that portray his clients at their best.
For Harry Langdon, each photo session in studio, or outdoors, is a new creative adventure that cannot be compared with any other art form. Known for the international client base he has developed, in addition to the look he is famous for, his signature technique and rapport with those he photographs remains sincere, fresh and timeless.
Harry is the only son of the famed silent film star, Harry Langdon Sr., and was literally raised on a movie set. His early life experiences at a time when a story had to transcend to the audience without sound continue to influence him as a photographer today. In addition, he is known for creating and designing personalized sets, utilizing an artistic eye and imagination that many set designers do not employ in today’s scene.
Some of his clients include: Apollonia Kotero, Chris Tucker, David Hasselhoff, Frankie Valle, Michael Cain, Nancy Allen, Nancy O’Dell, Nancy Sinatra, Dionne Warrwick, Donna Summer, Valerie Bertinelli, Elke Sommer, Tina Turner, Virginia Madsen, Victoria Principal, Vanessa Williams, Cyd Charisse, Sean John Combs, Zsa Zsa Gabor, CHER, Kim Cattrall, Kirk Douglas, Katherine Heigl, Keenen Ivory Wayans, President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan, Andy Gibb, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, Raquel Welch, Sophia Loren, Ann-Margret, The Scorpions, The Beach Boys, Curtis Mayfield, Truman Capote, Halle Berry, among many others.
